GLORY TO GLORY AS A CHILD.

LESSON 1
HOW TO MOVE FROM GLORY TO GLORY AS A CHILD.
ISAIAH 60:1 -5
MEMORY VERSE:  ISAIAH 60:1
ARISE, SHINE; FOR THY LIGHT IS COME,
AND THE GLORY OF THE LORD IS RISEN UPON THEE.
JOSHUA

Before Moses died, he chose Joshua to be the next leader of the Israelites. After wandering in the wilderness for 40 years, Joshua and his people camped to the East of the Jordan The river before heading into the Promised Land. There were many groups of people living in the Promised Land before the Israelites got there. God told Joshua that he would take over the land that He promised Abraham, and encouraged Joshua to be strong and courageous because He would be with him.

When it was time to cross the river into the Promised Land, Joshua had the priests go first and once their feet touched the river, the water parted so everyone could get across safely—just like what happened with Moses at the Red Sea!

Once the Israelites were safely across, Joshua chose 12 men to each pick a stone from the middle of the river and pile them up at their camp, so whenever they see the 12 stones they will be reminded that God helped them cross the Jordan River. That day, the Lord made Joshua a great leader in the eyes of all the Israelites, and for the rest of his life, they would respect him just as they did
with Moses.

HOW HE USED THE FIVE STEPS TO MOVE FROM GLORY TO GLORY.

STEP 1, Joshua know his  relationship with God. Joshua 24 :15
STEP 2, Joshua  was pure : Joshua 7:1-26
STEP 3,  Joshua Learn  how to pray  .
He also prays that the sun should standstill. Joshua 10:12-13.
STEP 4,  Joshua Made himself relevant. Joshua 1:1-11
STEP 5,  Joshua was Courageous : Joshua 24

Invitation: for you to move from glory to glory the step first is to accept Jesus Christ into your life as your Lord and savior. John1:12.

LESSON 2.

HOW TO MOVE FROM GLORY TO GLORY. PART 2
BIBLE TEXTS: ESTHER 2

MEMORY VERSE: 2 PETER 1:2
Grace to you and peace be multiplied in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.

Esther was a girl that God used to help His people in a very special way. She was a Jew, living a very long way from home, in a country where the Jews were looked at with suspicion. She lived almost 500 years before Jesus was on earth, in Persia (the country we now call Iran.)
Esther didn’t have the easiest start to her life – she was an orphan who was raised by a kind uncle (Mordecai). He would have taught her about her place among God’s chosen people, the Jews, and all that used to happen in the temple, back in Jerusalem, when he was a boy. She grew up to be a beautiful young woman, with a good character and quick mind.
Esther and her uncle lived near the king’s palace, and her good looks caught the attention of the king’s advisors. They thought that she would make a good wife for the king. But she was in competition with many other girls, because whoever became the king’s wife also became queen. The king liked Esther better than anyone else, so she became the queen of the Persian empire!
Not long after this, one of the king’s advisors decided to make life very difficult for the Jewish people. No-one could approach the king to try to help them – except Esther. She was very scared because even the queen could not go to see the king without a special invitation; she could even have been killed for doing it!
But thousands of lives were at risk, so she plucked up the courage to go and see the king, to ask him to save the Jewish people. Her courage was rewarded! The king stopped the people from being killed and punished the bad advisor who hated God’s people.
Queen Esther was in the right place, at the right time – put there by God – to save her people. In Esther 4:14, a book in the Old Testament, we read this about Esther, “Yet who knows if perhaps you were made queen for just such a time as this?” (New Living Translation)
An orphan girl who became queen turned out to be one of the best heroes ever!

HOW TO MOVE FROM GLORY TO GLORY AS A CHILD

MEMORY VERSE: TITUS 2:12
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.

DANIEL GODLY LIFESTYLE

Daniel was a humble, hardworking, Godly man from Israel that was captured when Jerusalem was defeated by the Babylonians. God knew that Daniel had a very strong faith and belief in Him; God also knew that Daniel would give all of the glory to Him for whatever happened in his life.

The King of Persia made Daniel an important leader in the kingdom because he was very smart and King Darius liked him. But the other leaders in the kingdom didn't like that Daniel was above them because he was a captive from Israel, he wasn't a Persian. They decided they would get Daniel in trouble so the king would get rid of Daniel, but they couldn't do it because Daniel was obeying all of the laws! The only way they could get Daniel in trouble was by tricking the king into passing a new law; the law said that everyone had to pray to King Darius and no other god or they would be thrown into the lions' den!

Daniel would pray to God everyday and he continued to do so from his window, even after the law was passed. Daniel was caught praying to God so they threw him into a den of hungry lions! The Bible says that God sent an angel to protect Daniel from the lions, and the next day Daniel was taken out of the lions' den without a scratch! King Darius was so happy that God protected Daniel and he told the story to all the people of his empire.
The stories of Daniel are very encouraging, especially when you realize that Daniel was a normal person just like you and me. Focus entirely on God, and may He bless and protect you like Daniel!

Songs of victory: Lesson for teenager

What is Victory
Bible text Joshua 2:1-24

Memory Verse: 1 Corinthians 15:57

But thanks, be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

 Lesson aim:
To realize that we have victory in Christ
What is victory
An act of defeating an enemy or opponent in a battle, game, or other competition.

outline

Rahab and the Spies (our bible text Joshua 2:1-24)

1.  The problem will always come.
Joshua 2:2-3 when the king found out about them. How can they come out of it?
But God will always make a way. Isaiah 43:16-19, (also read - 1 Corinthians 10:13 ,Psalm 145:14)

2.
GOD WILL ALWAYS MAKE A WAY.
God made a way for the two spies: Joshua 2:4-6

GOD has already put helpers everywhere you go. When the devil puts you in trouble just call on him. Psalm 50:15, Psalm 46:1-3
 Philippians 4:6, 7  Hebrews 13:5

3. Your helper to victory can be anybody. Joshua 2:1; 2:8-12

If you know who you are in Christ, you should be the one to influence people not the other way around because if the spies ran away from her because she was a prostitute, they could have died and she would never have had the opportunity to become a child of God.  1 Peter 2:9, 1 Corinthians 9:20

4 Nothing can separate you from God’s love

The spies got their victory; Joshua 2:17-23.romans 8:31-39

5. Do not be afraid
God wants to use our problems for good, to make us better and stronger for our personal development and in turn for us to be able to help others in their lives. So the unhappy, confused and disillusioned Christian will react irrationally with their problems rather than taking the time through spiritual discipline to see the advantage they bring them. So what can we do to refocus ourselves onto the right path?

Romans 8:28

Life application: 4

Know why you are doing what you are doing, that is the only way to get your victory. Philippians 3:14,

Lesson 2 (45mins)
What is song of Victory
Bible text Joshua 6:1-27

Memory Verse: Philippians 3:14
I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

 Lesson aim:
To realize that we have victory in Christ

What is ‘song of victory’?
When we listen, trust and obey God, Songs of victory will surely come no matter how big the problem is, or how high the wall that surrounds us, Victory will come.

Story outline

1: Listening
The Lord always speaks to us when things are not working, but do we listen? : Joshua 6:1-5

Isaiah 59:1, Jeremiah 29:12,

2.Doing God’s will:
Joshua did everything God asked him to do: Joshua 6:6-19

For us to have songs of victory, we need to do everything God asks us to do in life. Deuteronomy 28:1,

Exodus 19:5

3. We all are Overcomers

Joshua got victory: Joshua 6: 20-27

Victory is not a matter of you fixing or changing the circumstances. No. Victory is IN YOU. It is YOU coming to the place in your relationship with God where you believe – completely irrespective of your circumstances. That is the victory of faith.
Victory means freedom. It means that I am free to be who God intended me to be, because I have seen what He is to me. Victory is the result of pushing through by faith, all that would keep me from walking in the Truth: 1 john5:4
4: faith
The world," in this passage, means all that is of the world IN US, and all that is of the world that comes against us. FAITH is that victory. Faith is not based on whether we can overcome. Faith is based on the faith that Jesus has already overcome every enemy that will come against us. Our faith stands in the fact that despite contradiction, the victory is assured because of Jesus Christ.
If I will believe, I will eventually see. Not sometimes, but every time. I will not only see the salvation of the Lord working out in ME, and my circumstances, but I will come to the place where nothing will be able to greatly move me from my faith. That is victory.
Psalm 125:1) Psalm 62:1-2)

Lesson 3

Be careful when you are victorious not to forget God.

Memory Verse: Deuteronomy 8 vs 10

When you have eaten, and are satisfied, you shall bless the LORD your God for the good land which He has given you.
Lesson aim:
That one can forget God
David said, “Praise the Lord, I tell myself, and never forget the good things He does for me.” (Ps 103:2)
David told himself to never forget the good things God has done. We also must make up our minds to never forget God’s goodness in our lives.
Ways We Forget the Lord
1.By being satisfied with the victory (Hosea 13:6).

Deuteronomy 8:11-12

2. By going after the additional blessing of victory: Hosea 2:13.

3. By forgetting God's past works of salvation: "then take care lest you forget the Lord, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery" Deuteronomy 6:12.

4. By believing lies instead of the Word of God: "This is your lot, the portion I have measured out to you, declares the Lord, because you have forgotten me and trusted in lies" Jeremiah 13:25.
