Lesson 1
How to move from Glory to Glory as a Teenager (Part 1)
FIVE STEPS.

Bible Text: Isaiah 60:1 -5
Memory Verse: Arise, shine; for thy light comes,
and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.


FIVE STEPS
1.   Know your relationship with GOD (be born again) -John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
2.   Make yourself relevant - 2 Timothy 2:21
3.   Learn how to pray. Act 6:4: But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.
4.   Be pure – Proverb 15:8-9 The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord: but the prayer of the upright is his delight; The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the Lord: but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness.
5.   Be Courageous - Joshua 1:7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.


EXAMPLE OF JOSHUA

HOW HE USED THE FIVE STEPS TO MOVE FROM GLORY TO GLORY.
STEP 1: Joshua know his relationship with God Joshua 24:15
STEP 2: Joshua made himself relevant Joshua 1:1-11
STEP 3: Joshua learnt how to pray. He also prayed that the sun should stand still Joshua 10:12-13.
STEP 4: Joshua was pure Joshua 7:1-26
STEP 5: Joshua was courageous Joshua 24

LIFE APPLICATION
The mind of God is for all of us is to prosper 1 JOHN 1:3, Joshua was a godly example for us, let's apply the five steps into our life.

Invitation: For you to move from glory to glory the step is to accept Jesus Christ into your life as your Lord and Savior John 1:12.

Habits are something that you do often and regularly, sometimes without knowing that you are doing it:

To move from glory to glory your habit has got a big role to play in it. What is your habit?
What are the habit God hates? (Proverbs 6:16-19)
“There are six things the Lord hates,
seven that are detestable to him:
haughty eyes,
a lying tongue,
hands that shed innocent blood,
a heart that devises wicked schemes,
feet that are quick to rush into evil,
a false witness who pours out lies
and a person who stirs up conflict in the community”

WHAT ARE BAD HABITS?
1.  lying

4.  cheating
5.  disobedience
6.  envy
7.  resentment
8.  pouting

THE HABITS GOD LOVES
1. Study his word 1 John 2:14
2. Obey His word Deut 27:10
3. Submit yourself to the word you study: 1 Thess 4:7-8
4. Be disciplined 1Cor 9:27
5. Mind what you watch Prov 4:23
6. Mind who your friend is 1 Cor 15:33

If your behavior is good God will take you from glory to glory, because He wants His glory in you to shine so that to it can bring praise to His holy name Psalm 150:1-6

Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.

A Godly lifestyle is life that please, glorifies, honour and impactful to other people.

LIVING A GODLY LIFESTYLE.
